The Woodland jewellery collection is entirely inspired by the beauty of the natural world around us, particularly the hauntingly beautiful forests that have stood peacefully for hundreds of years.
The Gemstone and Sterling Silver Twig Drop Pendant is a perfect example, combining two of nature’s greatest accomplishments in a subtle and beautiful setting: A gemstone of your choice surrounded by delicate silver twigs inspired by nature.
This is then suspended from an 18” chain, allowing it to catch and collect the light to show off its true beauty. This set is also fully customisable, and you can choose between Amethyst, Blue Topaz, Garnet, Citrine, Peridot and Cubic Zirconium for your gemstone as well as a choice of precious metals.
I took inspiration directly from the natural world for this piece, selecting the perfect twigs that we found in the wild to act as a model for the ones in my jewellery.
First I took the shape of the twigs using a mould so they could be preserved forever, then I selected the finest quality silver to be poured inside, capturing its subtle and delicate shape to perfection. This technique is ancient and captures everything about the piece down to the grain of the wood.
