That’s why I chose to use a tension setting in our gemstone tension rings because it’s one of the most simple ways to display a gemstone. The gem sits on the shoulders of the 9-carat gold setting, subtly illuminated by its shine but never overshadowed by it, with the maximum amount of light allowed to hit the stone, creating that brilliant radiance that the best jewelry boasts.
