Blue Topaz and Silver Organic Ring

Artists and metalworkers have taken inspiration from nature for centuries, which is something I always look to do when I plan and design a new piece. My studio works best when we’re fusing the natural and the artificial, turning something organic into something made of metal, which is why I chose this design that incorporates twisting strands of rose root into the setting. I cast the rose root design in high quality Sterling silver that is weighty and substantial while also being delicate and fine thanks to its textured natural inspiration.

This example incorporates a beautiful blue topaz stone into its design, wrapped in the rose root silver setting, which is the perfect set of colours and shapes to bring out the gorgeous colours that are inherent to this stone. However, it’s very important to me that every design is exactly what its owners want, so I strive to make this piece customisable in terms of the stone and setting to create the perfect ring for you.
